Drop-In Programs, Events, and Day Trips for LGBT Seniors
As LGBT seniors, we are an integral part of the community. Celebrating our ethnic, racial and gender diversity, we gather to create a safe and nurturing environment.

Drop - In
Meets Mondays and Wednesdays
11 am-2:30 pm at the Center, (6600 Detroit Ave)
Seniors Out and About
Seniors Out and About is an LGBT senior citizen social support group which was formed at the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland in August of 2003.The group still meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11am to 2:30pm. The group meets for chair-based, low impact exercises followed by lunch. At the end of each month the seniors go on field trips that are organized around their interests. The group serves members who are 55 years of age and older, and is open to the community. The program is free; however, there is a suggested fee of $3 for those who wish to eat lunch and a nominal fee for those wish to go on field trips.
Senior Discussion Group
The Center also offers a Senior Discussion Group, which meets the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month to discuss senior issues and topics. The group is facilitated by an intern at the Center. The group discusses issues pertaining to health and wellness, financial needs, relationships, and other topics determined by group members. Group intake is required before participation in this group.
